and the English language.Fast, accurate interpretive and translation services in 47 languages. Why Spokane International Translation? Over 160 carefully screened and tested interpreters/translators. The
majority are not only bi-lingual but also bi-cultural. They are able to
aid in the communication process between people from a foreign country and
the manner in which the United States functions. Many of our interpreters
are Washington State Medically Certified Interpreters; all are highly
qualified.Bi-cultural owner, with special understanding of issues involved in
successful translations and interpretation between two different cultures.Prompt and responsive service. Since our inception, we have successfully
provided language interpretive services to the Spokane community with an
efficiency rate of 99%+. In other words, when you need an interpreter, we
get you one, every single time, relieving your staff of the difficult and
sometimes tedious and frustrating time it takes to find an interpreter.
This service is included, at no charge, in our hourly interpretive rates.Efficient billing and accounting procedures. For example, we provide our
own Independent Contractor form which the interpreter takes to the
assignment, gets signed by the appropriate person and returns to us. We
invoice you and in turn pay the interpreter, saving you the staff time,
paperwork and postage.Professional “Errors and Omissions Insurance” liability coverage.Representative Costs Interpretive Services: $40.00 per hour on Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm$50.00 per hour after hours, weekends, or on an emergency basis$40.00 per hour for telephone interpretationTranslation of Text: $0.18 - $0.25 per word for Spanish, Russian and other European languages.$0.25 - $0.28 per word for Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese.Desktop Publishing: $50.00 per hour if project is to be specially formatted or “camera ready”

Background Information Spokane International Translation was formed in June of 1995 to serve the ever growing translation and interpretation needs of the Spokane County medical, business and legal communities. At the request of the Spokane Language Bank (a volunteer organization created in 1974 to meet the foreign languages needs of Expo ’74), we merged that group into our company and so began with 20 languages and a dedicated group of interpreters. Since then, we have continued to expand and are now able to provide the area with at least 47 languages and over 200 independent contractors. Most are native speakers, college educated and live right here in Spokane County. How diverse we have become! Perciba was incorporated in July 2002 to serve as the parent company of Spokane International Translation. Its primary focus is developing customized total immersion natural language training programs for Spanish, English, French, Russian, Italian, Japanese, German, and Sign, Natural Language Instructor Training program, as well as developing language learning tools. 47 Languages Our interpreters/translators are fluent in the following languages:
